CITIZEN TEN began playing music at the age of 2. As a classically trained violinist, he has always been drawn to a vast variety of sounds, integrating several genres into his production and dj sets as necessary. A 10-year veteran of the Bay Area music scene - his mission has always been to infuse "real" music into the dj/ electronic culture via melodic arcs and thematic statements. In a digital age - Citizen Ten insists in representing his organic musical roots, while playing ball with the bleeps and blaps of the new-skool... With fellow beatsmiths DJ CENTIPEDE, THE GASLAMP KILLER, and ASPECT McARTHY - Citizen Ten was a 4-year resident and co-founder of the weekly clubnight / San Francisco institution CHANGE THE BEAT.
